Campaign launched to improve disabled access on public transport

Young wheelchair users are struggling to maintain their independence because public transport still isn't accessible for too many of them.

That's according to results of a new survey by disability charity Whizz Kidz. They say some young people with disabilities are missing out on job interviews and other opportunities because its too hard for them to travel.

Now a university student in Sussex, who uses a wheelchair after a trampolining accident, is spearheading a campaign to improve accessibility.

This week she went to Westminster to talk to MPs about the difficulties wheelchair users face.
