Laser pen 'shone at driver in Kent'

Breaking: Police are investigating a report that a laser pen was shone at a driver in Kemsley, Kent.

It is reported that at around 7pm on Thursday 12 November a group of young people, standing on the green area in Vaughan Drive, shone a laser pen at a passing van.

The driver, a man in his 30s, suffered eye injuries and has received hospital treatment.

Shining a laser pen into someone’s eyes or at a moving vehicle is not only a criminal offence, but it is dangerous.
