People who drop litter in Basingstoke will be making a costly mistake - that's the warning from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
Seven people recently received criminal convictions along with fines, ranging between £105 and £440, plus additional costs for littering offences.
These were the latest prosecutions brought by the council – so far, 12 people have faced court action and more cases are still outstanding.
