Parents defend inadequate nursery rating over phone photos

The parents of nursery schoolchildren in Kent say they're angry it has been rated inadequate.

It's because mobile phone photographs of children at the nursery in Maidstone were being sent to parents by the staff.

It was something both parents and nursery workers had previously agreed to.

An OFSTED inspector found the practice raised safety concerns but the nursery owners say the photographs were simply letting parents know their children were safe.

Tom Savvides reports.
