Engineers are continuing to try and repair a burst water main in Chandler's Ford in Hampshire.
Drivers faced hour-long tailbacks when School Lane was closed at 8am this morning.
"School lane in Chandlers Ford is currently closed due to flooding. This is as a result of a burst pipe - which Southern Water is working to fix as a matter of urgency.
"The water supply is not affected and no properties are without water - however we have ordered a water tanker to ensure the Hampshire Corporate business park remains in supplies while we carry out this vital repair.
"We understand this has impacted on drivers and would like to apologise to anyone affected. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and would like to thank people for their patience."
