Conservative councillor elected in Bondfields by-election

Lance Quantrill and Alan Mak, Havant MP (Con)

A new Councillor has been elected for the Bondfields ward in Leigh Park during a by-election that took place yesterday.

Conservative candidate Lance Quantrill was elected and will serve the remainder of the standard four year term of office as a councillor, until May 2018 following the sad death of Frida Edwards.

Councillor Quantrill received 207 votes from a turnout of 658 of a total electorate of 4902 (13.97%).
