New captain for HMS Queen Elizabeth takes command

The new captain for the HMS Queen Elizabeth has taken command for the first time.

Captain Jerry Kyd - who went to Southampton University and lives in Hampshire - willl bring the aircraft carrier home to Portsmouth next year.

He was welcomed aboard in Rosyth, Scotland, where the HMS Queen Elizabeth is nearing completion.
