Air accident investigators remain at the scene of a glider crash near Bradley in Hampshire.
Police, Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and South Central Ambulance were called just before 12 noon to Southwood Farm Lane, where the glider, powered by a small back-up engine, had come down in a corn field.
Tonight police confirmed that the 60 year old woman pilot died at the scene Her family have been informed. Police say they are supporting the Air Accident Investigation Board, who are looking into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
