Research into scar-free healing

A plastic surgeon based at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead - and a cancer survivor from Kent - are at the forefront of pioneering research that aims to achieve 'scar-free healing' within a generation.

Some animals can recover from major injury without scarring. So can human embryos. Well now the Scar Free Foundation believes that we may have the potential to do it too. John Ryall reports.
