Annual Bramble Bank cricket match draws in crowd and tide

The cricket match with a difference took place yesterday evening in the middle of the Solent.

The match, which relies on a low tide, has been played at the same location since the 1950s.

We spoke to Sir Robin Knox-Johnston from the Royal Southern Yacht Club Cricket Team and John Allen from the Island Sailing Club Cricket Team.

The annual Bramble Bank game took place last night and conditions were a little wet to say the least as Richard Slee explains in this report.
