Brighton's i360 closed: third breakdown in 8 months

Brighton's i360 tower is closed today due to a temporary fault.

It's the tower's third breakdown in 8 months.

It's less than a month since their last four-day closure which was due to a damaged data cable.

The tourist attraction opened in August last year and lifts guests 450 feet into the air for a 360 degree view of the Brighton coastline.

The tower claims to be the world's first "vertical cable car".

The British Airways i360 pod is closed on Sunday 26th March and Monday 27th March while technicians investigate the cause of a temporary fault.
