Multi-million pound investment brings Sussex museum to life

The Weald and Downland Living Museum in Sussex has preserved a way of life that might otherwise have been lost in the mists of time.

It transports visitors back over the centuries, providing a snapshot of how our ancestors lived, worked and played.

Thanks to a £6 million charity investment, in which £5.6 million derived from the Heritage Lottery Fund, the experience has become even better with the opening a range of new facilities.

As Sam Holder reports.
