Police hunt man in connection with Kent stabbing

Officers have released images of a man they would like to identify and locate in connection with a knife attack in Kent.

The assault is reported to have taken place on the High Street in Herne Bay between 2.52am and 2.58am on Sunday 9 July.

The victim, a man aged in his 50s, suffered an injury to his stomach consistent with a stab wound and was taken to a local hospital but has since been released.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the photos, or if they were in the area at the time of the assault.
