A man has been stabbed as he walked through Basingstoke in broad daylight.
He was attacked on Saturday, 28th October sometime between 3.30pm and 5.15pm.
The 37-year old was walking near the junction of Diana Close and Elizabeth Road when he was approached by a youth pushing a cycle and two other youths.
One snatched his mobile phone and another grabbed his silver necklace with a black cross.
He was then stabbed in the abdomen with an unknown implement.
The three youths then ran off.
The man managed to get some passers-by to come to his aid.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance and treated for his injury.
The youths are described as male, aged between 17 and 20.
They were all wearing black hoodies with their faces masked.
Police are appealing for witnesses to call the Northern Investigation Centre in Basingstoke on 101.
