Tens of thousands of people turned out in Lewes in Sussex for the largest Bonfire Night in the country last night.
Police had warned non-locals to stay away amid increasing concern that crowds were becoming too large.
This year's event had sparked controversy involving a troupe of African dancers. Derek Johnson reports.
Derek spoke to Zulu dancer Thandanani Gumede and Mike Symes from the Lewes Bonfire Society.
