Funeral procession with a grave message stops traffic

Campaigners calling for the Government to take more action on climate change held a mock funeral procession through the streets of Canterbury.

The demonstrators from Extinction Rebellion say the coffin represents the loss of the environment if the global warming crisis isn't tackled now.

They brought traffic to a standstill at the end of the procession, when they blocked the road near Canterbury's Westgate Towers, drawing both anger and praise from drivers

Sarah Saunders spoke to campaigners and John Halladay of Extinction Rebellion in her report.
