Injured soliders race for Team BRIT at Brands Hatch

Two injured former soldiers raced at Brands Hatch today for Team Brit - an all disabled team of drivers.

The team offers injured military personnel and other people with disabilities the chance to compete in elite motorsports on a level playing field.

And they hope to be the first all-disabled team to take part in the Le Man 24 hour race.

Sarah Saunders spoke to drivers Warren Mckinlay and Martyn Compton.

Martyn is a former member of the household cavalry who suffered burns to 70% of his body after his tank was ambushed in Afghanistan. He was also shot.

Warren is a former royal electrical mechanical engineer who suffered a traumatic brain injury after a motorbike crash.
