Uniyclist stable after 100 bystanders lift bus off him
A unicyclist is in a serious but stable condition in hospital this morning after 100 bystanders helped to pull him from underneath a bus.
The 55-year-old man collided with the number 212 bus yesterday evening on Hoe Street in Walthamstow.
Witnesses described people running from nearby restaurants to try and lift the bus from on top of the injured man. He is being treated at a hospital in East London.

Incredible video has emerged of 100 people rushing to rescue a unicyclist trapped under a bus in Walthamstow yesterday.
Video posted by an eyewitness shows a huge crowd of people rushing towards the man. They then work together to lift the bus from on top of him to try and free him from underneath the wheels.
The huge double-decker bus can then be seen rocking backwards as the crowd pushes it to get the man out.
The man was taken to hospital after the accident and is now in a serious but stable condition.
