The ATR aircraft, leased by Aurigny from Jump Air, was approaching Guernsey Airport from Southampton when investigators say it flew too low in foggy conditions.

Simon Riggs, who had recently retired, died when his aircraft crashed in Cambridgeshire on Tuesday.

Social media videos showed the aircraft appear to lose control in the moments before the crash.
