The doll, created to look like International Space Station (ISS) commander Samantha Cristoforetti, is currently with the astronaut on the ISS.
The first Barbie with hearing aids features in the campaign, alongside the first Ken doll with vitiligo, one with a prosthetic limb and another in a wheelchair.
