Ian Stewart will die behind bars after he was convicted of murdering his wife and fiancee.

He was convicted of murdering his wife Diane Stewart at their home, having already been found guilty of murdering children’s book author Helen Bailey.

Revd Dr Donald McFadyen comforted Ian Stewart over the death of his wife Diane, years before it emerged the grieving husband was responsible for her murder.
