The woman in her 50s suffered bites to her face, neck and arms.

Two people have been arrested following a report that a dog attacked a young boy in Oxton, Birkenhead.

Stephen Wynne, then aged 26, killed mum-of-three Chantel Taylor with a meat cleaver.
