A doorman who killed a football fan with one punch outside a Bedfordshire pub has been jailed for more than nine years.

Witnesses heard the crack of Aaron Bateman's head on the pavement after Fantie punched him in the face, the court heard.

The Old Palace Lodge said it had no choice but to take the Home Office's offer as it was the only way to financially secure its business.
