The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration said the levels of capsaicin in some of Samyan's products pose a health hazard.

Environmental health inspectors said grease and food debris had built up on surfaces, wall, floors and equipment.

The company carried on serving from the school kitchen despite knowing that it was infested with mice, said the council.
