A 37-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 40-year-old man after an incident on 18 February.

Police were called to a property in the town on Friday evening. A 40-year-old man was pronounced dead in hospital shortly after.

Police Scotland said Henry Holme, 90, from Melrose and Janette Tait, 79, from Selkirk, died following a crash between Galashiels and Selkirk.
