Guernsey Airport

Some passengers on the cancelled Guernsey to Jersey flight had to sleep in the terminal on airbeds as they could not find anywhere to stay at short notice.

The ATR aircraft, leased by Aurigny from Jump Air, was approaching Guernsey Airport from Southampton when investigators say it flew too low in foggy conditions.

Aurigny passengers were left confused and frustrated after their Exeter to Guernsey flight returned to its departure airport as the island's runway was closed.
