The wife of a patient at Guildford's Royal Surrey County Hospital made a complaint about her husband's care and treatment in the emergency department.

39-year-old Martin Chatfield left the house in a mess following a frantic search for valuables at Pond Meadow in October last year.

Trains were parked alongside platforms with station concourses empty and shops closed and for many taxi drivers business simply vanished.
