A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson, as the Tyne and Wear fire service continues to tackle a huge blaze in the Heaton area of Newcastle.

Newcastle City Council said the traffic sensors outside Ravenswood Primary School, in Heaton, had been deliberately targeted.
