Ice Skating

Planet Ice is closing for a year-long refurbishment. There are calls for a temporary rink as North Hampshire athletes are left with nowhere local to train.

Council leaders say during this time £1.6m was spent in the town by all those visiting the ice rink.

'Jersey on Ice' in St Helier welcomed 45,000 visitors over the winter period. The company says it was so successful they have now bought the rink.
