A new portrait of guitar legend Jimi Hendrix - made from 4,000 plectrums - will go on public display for the first time tomorrow.
The mosaic was created by Manchester artist Ed Chapman and was commissioned by the guitar maker Fender to mark the release of a new album of studio material by Hendrix.
The portrait, which measures 105 x 80cm, will be unveiled in Ganton Street in West London to mark the launch of the record, called People, Hell and Angels.
Mr Chapman - who has also created portraits made from coins, glass, mobile phones and even sugar cubes - said he was "totally thrilled" to be asked to make the portrait.
