M3 Motorway

The M3 was reduced to one lane overnight for emergency repairs and National Highways South East are urging drivers to find alternative routes if possible.

The HGV transporter, which was carrying several Teslas, was travelling north on the M3 near Fleet when it slid through the central reservation barrier.

There are several miles of queues on the M3 near to Basingstoke due to the incident.
