Sprinter Libby Clegg, who has taken Paralympic gold and set a world record, feels achievements by Paralympians are not as well-recognised as those of Olympians.

The day after announcing her retirement she has taken a silver at her last Paralympic event, the universal 4x100m relay.

The athlete from Newcastleton just missed out on gold in the S12 100m men's butterfly final. This is the fifth medal for athletes from our region at the Games.
