Shops looted, library torched and dad's fears for children as rioting rocks Liverpool last night.

Activists said they had occupied a gas chamber at a pig processing facility, shutting down operations.

More than 60 people were arrested after members of the activist group laid down and sat on the floor of Parliament Square.
