Staff at a popular café are warning other businesses to be vigilant after diners racked up a large bill and then left without paying.

Cafeteria in Newcastle launched six months ago inspired by the classic cafes of the 1950s and 1960s.

It was announced on Thursday 30 November that the restaurant had ceased trading, and staff were informed of the closure yesterday evening (29 November)
