Fulham have appointed caretaker manager Scott Parker as their new permanent boss.
Former England and Fulham midfielder Parker replaced Claudio Ranieri at the Craven Cottage helm in February but was unable to stop the club's Premier League relegation.
Now chairman Shahid Khan has handed Parker the challenge of dragging Fulham back to the Premier League at the first attempt, in next term's Championship campaign.
Scott Parker has vowed to make the most of every minute in his first major international tournament.
At 31 the Tottenham anchor has accrued only 13 caps in a stop-start England career but is set for a crucial role under in Ukraine and Poland.
Parker said: "At 31 it's my first tournament so it's one I have been looking forward to for a long time and I am over the moon."
