A petition urging a 20mph u-turn has gained more than 400,000 signatures, but will it lead to anything?

A petition against the new default speed has hit 400,000 signatures and last night saw more 20mph signs targeted by protesters.

The petition is by far the most signed in the history of the Senedd, but some have raised questions about the organic nature of the number of signatures.
