Daniel Briceno Garcia killed his landlords Sonia Butron Calvi and Edgar Aguilera Daza after he became worried about the risks of Covid.

Prosecutor Tom Little QC told jurors at the Old Bailey: “What was found at the property can only be properly described as a bloodbath.”

The trio were put on trial at the Old Bailey, largely on the word of former British Transport Police officer Detective Sergeant Derek Ridgewell.
