From Wednesday 1 November, Sure download speeds will increase to 2Gbps - double the speeds currently available in Jersey or elsewhere around the British Isles.
Jersey's competition regulator has said it is "minded to refuse" permission for two of the Channel Islands' telecoms companies to merge.
