Students who are learning about policing as well as those on paramedic and forensic science courses are being put through their paces.

The UCU (University and College Union) will see 70,000 of its members on strike today with every university in the region affacted.

The students have created videos illustrating the history of the Roman landmark which will be projected onto a bonfire at Carlisle's annual Fireshow.
