Archaeologists from the University of Liverpool have discovered ancient wood thought to be at least 476,000 years old.

Alan McKie from Helsby, Cheshire, is taking part in the challenge in memory of his great-niece Izzy McEgan who died from cancer a week before her 20th birthday.
