A record shop in Newcastle is just one of fifty charities or businesses across the country to receive an early Christmas gift courtesy of musical Royalty.

Artists are eager to get in on the vinyl rival - but despite the trend, a worldwide global record production shortage is hitting some bands in the pocket.

Some 4.8 million vinyl albums were purchased in the UK over the past 12 months, up nearly a tenth on sales in 2019.
