The Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey tells ITV News that nationalising water companies would be 'letting them off the hook' for polluting rivers and seas.

Water company bosses could be banned from receiving bonuses and even sent to prison under proposed UK Government laws to combat pollution.

Warnings were put out three times in August and this is the second time the Environment Agency has issued warnings for the beach this month.
