Aaron Wainwright has been named Welsh men's rugby player of the year, which is voted on by the Welsh Rugby Writers Association.

Next season, the national teams will be wearing different kits with the women’s squad opting to wear red shorts, following a period of consultation.

Aaron Wainwright will win his 50th international cap six years after making his first Wales appearance in a win over Argentina in 2018.
