North East stars unveil Olympic kits
Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell and swimmer Jo Jackson were among the athletes who unveiled Team GB's kits for this summer's Olympic Games.
The event, at the Tower of London, had around 30 athletes from various sports wearing the team clothing, which has been created by fashion designer Stella McCartney.
Campbell, who was modelling the Great Britain football strip, is hoping to be one of three players selected for the squad who is over the age of 22.
The 24-year-old said: "[The kit] is great. It feels great, and hopefully we can give it that extra feel-good factor in the Olympics.
Jackson, from Northallerton in North Yorkshire, was showing off the GB swimming kit.
The 25-year-old said: "It was a bit nerve wracking, but it was so exciting to be a part of something so special. It's amazing.
