The first of two new California Seal Lions has arrived at the Blue Reef Aquarium in Tynemouth.

'Finn' arrived at the centre on Thursday night after being collected from a wildlife attraction in Belgium.

California Sea Lions are native to coastal areas in North America and are one of five species of sea lion.

Staff at the Blue Reef Aquarium say Finn seems excited and happy to be there, and he's already bonding well with his new trainer.
