A rottweiler from Norton on Teesside has been sent a polling card to vote in the coming Euro elections.
The card, addressed to Zeus Hoyle, came with the voting card for his owner Russell Hoyle. Russell says that when officials with clip boards asked him who was in the household he mentioned himself, his wife, and his son who was too young to vote. Then he added that he had Zeus who was coming up to 63 in dog years.
He thought nothing more of it until Zeus's polling card dropped through the letterbox. Now he says he may take Zeus along to the polling station on 22nd May to see what happens.
