His Royal Highness Prince Charles is in the North East today as he pays a trip to Nissan's Sunderland plant.
The Prince of Wales will be joined by the Mayor of Sunderland to learn about the production of electric cars at the plant.
The pair are expected to walk along the production line of Nissan's LEAF cars, which were introduced in 2013 and tackle air pollution by eliminating exhaust emissions.
Prince Charles will also visit the site's Global Training Centre, which covers trainee schemes, apprenticeships and school visits across the UK. There, he will hear about the opportunities being created for the next generation of car manufacturers.
