Paul Drinkhall has fired England into the Quarter Finals of the World Team Table Tennis Championships in Malaysia.

The 26-year-old, from Lotfus, beat Jakub Dyjas in a deciding match to give England a 3-2 win over Poland in Kuala Lumpur. England will now face France in the last eight.

Drinkhall, ranked number 72 in the world, makes up part of a three-man England team with Liam Pitchford and Sam Walker.

It's the first time England have reached the Quarter Finals of the World Team Championships since 1983.
