Hartlepool boxer Savannah Marshall has qualified for the Rio Olympics.
The 25-year-old beat China's Quan Li in the quarter-finals of the Women's World Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan to become Great Britain's 10th boxer to qualify for Rio.
Marshall takes one of four qualification places on offer at the Championships in the middleweight category. She is also now guaranteed at least a bronze medal at the World Championships.
Marshall will join flyweight Nicola Adams as Team GB’s only female boxers in Brazil, along with Galal Yafai, Muhammed Ali, Qais Ashfaq, Joe Cordina, Antony Fowler, Joshua Buatsi, Lawrence Okolie and Joe Joyce in the Men's categories.
