A newly-married couple and two of their wedding guests were the four victims of a road crash in North Yorkshire, according to a family member.

Joy and Derek Green were killed when their car collided with a truck on the the A64 near Malton as they travelled back from a wedding in Leeds last Friday. The newlyweds, who have not been formally identified, were also killed in the crash.

Joy and Derek Green's daughter Melanie confirmed the news on Facebook.

Melanie described it as "the worst day of my life" in the heartbreaking post.
